Increase the pressure only until it is very difficult to stop the wire from feeding out of the contact tip. Use a pliers or block of wood to try and stop the wire from feeding. Go perhaps one-half of a turn beyond this point.Screwing around with this machine and trying to teach myself to weld - a friend is selling to me over time for $300 which seemed like a good deal.... any way I started to use it and it was working just fine and the wire stopped feeding and some of the wire got tangled on the spool.If your machine is a SP-125T, check the voltage selector switch. A bad switch will kill both weld power and wire feed. A bad switch will also prevent power from getting to the rectifier. A bad rectifier will take out both weld and wire feed in either an SP-125T or an SP-125-PLUS.
